OK, here's a random one... Does anyone remember a tv movie about a dark haired boy who finds a small bottle hidden inside his bedroom wall and when he opens it he unknowingly unleashes a poltergeist who follows him around, playing tricks on people and making it look like the kid is doing it? In one scene the ghost rearranges the letters of a church sign to spell something obscene and when the kid tries to move the letters back he gets busted and blamed for it. Eventually he realizes its a poltergiest and tells his parents but they just think he's acting out. The actor who played the boy was also in a couple other tv movies around the same time but I think his career fizzled shortly after because I've never seen him since. Im guessing this was late 70's. He ends up getting the ghost back into the bottle by performing an exorcism.
