Subject: Children's educational show from the 70's?

Does anyone remember a 70's era tv show for children that featured a tall, thin woman with salt and pepper hair that would ask questions about various topics, such as health and manners?
At the commercial breaks, I believe, the scene would cut to what looked like oil paintings or water colors with words printed on it?
Please help!!!
