Subject: A Song... your own visualization...or a video
I think that had there been videos of music before we had a chance to experience our own interpretation of the lyrics it would of ruined the musical experience.Don't you think when you hear a song you enjoy it more without video??

Some songs yes and some songs no. I think of "Rio" by Duran Duran. The video actually adds to the song.
I saw a video to "Night Moves" by Bob Seger and it ruined my visualization of the song. The same thing with "Piano Man" by Billy Joel. I just hope they don't make a video for The Eagles' "New Kid In Town." I won't think of my old neighborhood anymore.

Whenever I hear Rio, I am automatically taken to Antigua in my mind, on a yacht, with Nick Rhodes....but I digress.
I completely agree with you on that note, some times an artist will hit on exactly what would add to a video and sometimes it is just like, *huh*?!, what the h**l were they thinking?
