Subject: 70's Soaps
Since I was a kid I have been watching Days of our Lives. I thought it was so much fun cause all the characters grew up right along with me. In some ways they felt like family lol. Now I am so sad cause the new head writer is totally destroying off the show by killing off all my favorite characters and leaving just the youngest and most annoying ones . Anyone else feel like me sad at the destruction of a 70's icon? :( . I really enjoyed my little escape from reality every week day for so many years. Even when I took a break from them to go to college there they all were waiting for me when I got back.

What they're doing with classic soaps these days leaves a lot to be desired. :-/ It's a shame to see the original characters go. A few of my friends gave up watching after Jack and Maggy were killed off.
