Subject: What is your favorite Captain Kangaroo memory?
Written By: Stevie B. on 01/24/04 at 00:41 a.m.
I have several! I always liked it when Bunny Rabbit would trick the Captain, and make the ping pong balls fall on his head. I also liked it when the Captain would talk to Grandfather Clock. I remember that when people came to visit Captain Kangaroo, and rang his doorbell,it sounded like the first few notes of his theme song! :D One time he had William Shatner, of Star Trek fame, as his special guest. Shatner greeted him by saying "Good Morning Captain!" and he responded by saying the same thing. Get it? Shatner played a captain as well...Captain Kirk. Let's trade Captain Kangaroo memories! :) Sincerely,Steve.
