Does anyone remember a perfume called
ME that was supposed to smell differently on
everyone who used it?
Subject: Re: perfumes
Can't say that i do, but do you remember that perfume shampoo called Longvee...or something like that.
Subject: Re: perfumes
Nope, never heard of Longvee shampoo. I liked
to vary between "Gee you Hair Smells Terrific"
and Lemon Up, I think it was called. It had a
lemon as the lid.

remember Yucca doo(sp) shampoo? made from the yucca plant! My favorite 70's perfume was Love's baby soft lemon
Subject: Re: perfumes
I remember Me! perfume! It had some rose in it. I also remember the "slightly spicy, slightly flowery" scent of "Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific".
I feel old!
Subject: Re: perfumes
Everytime I hear "Gee, your hair smells terrific" I have to think of this girl I went to school with. She used to say, "Gee, your hair smells.....Gee, your hair smells!" lol

This girl named Suzy wore White Shoulders, and it drove me crazy, and she drove a stake thru my heart :'(. Out of all my girlfriends since Suzy, have'nt found one whose perfume seemed to perfectly fit the woman, so will continue my quest 8)

I love White Shoulders. My boyfriend in high school gave me some for Christmas one year and I wore it all the time. I still have the bottle even though the perfume is all gone. Sentimental reasons I guess. ;)
Good luck in your hunt!! :)

I love that one also, I even wore it on occassion, smelled like lilacs to me, very flowery. If it didn't draw anything else it would draw the bees with the flower smell. Sweet Honesty (Avon) was also popular back in the seventies. These days with my asthma I can't take the smell of strong perfumes.

Not sure if my old girlfriend wore White Shoulders or Estee Lauder, she mentioned both. All I know is it was tantalizing. I bought this sample set of Estee Lauder for a recent girlfriend, but she put too much on her neck, and I liked to suffocate. So I tried taking a little water and smoothing it around her neck, but it still too strong. Anyway, ladies, here's a suggestion, use just enough perfume so that when you walk by, a man gets confused and wonders why it smells so good, at least that's what happens to me. Then I find myself looking around at the woman who just passed, and sometimes bump into other people or inanimate objects.
