Please, Could someone help me figure this out..Im sure this commercial was in the 70's , It was a big tree with packs of gum (thinking it was wrigley's) that people was picking off as they were singing some little tune.I'm sure I didn't dream this ......or did I? I have not found ANYTHING on it ..Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thank you

I remember the commercial. I believe it was Wrigley's Doublemint gum with different sets of twins picking the packs of gum off the tree.
"Have a great great day day and double double your your fun fun. Blah blah blah blah blah blah... Doublemint gum."

I was thinking it was Juicyfruit.

The picking-gum-off-tree commercial was definitely Wrigley's Juicy Fruit.
"Mmmm, Juicy Fruit."

Now that you mention it, I believe it was Juicy Fruit (definitely makes more sense, since fruit grows on trees). But that stupid Doublemint Gum jingle keeps going through my head! ARGH!!!!!!!!

:o
Doublemint had the most subtle ad campaign,
The buxom blonde bikini twins chime in unison:
"Double your pleasure with Doublemint Gum!"
We who were heavy into puberty would slobber, "They can double my pleasure anytime! nyuk nyuk nyuk!"
:P

I remember this! It was the Wrigleys gum, if we remember correctly (still trying to find a URL on this). Jell-O did something similar, but I can't remember if it was in the late 70's or early 80's. A bunch of kids picking fruit shaped Jell-O off a tree.

A week & a half ago, I got a video I ordered of WWWF wrestling from 1978. It includes the original commercials, etc. that were aired on WOR-TV. many of the commercials are for Wrigley gum products. Juicy Fruit gum with the tree, Wrigley Spearmint gum, and Freedent ("Won't stick to most dental work.")
