Subject: Teeter Totter Watches
Anyone remember them? Or still have one that works? I don't remember them being real durable, but I think they actually kept time :)
Subject: Re: Teeter Totter Watches
How did they work?

There were two people on a Teeter Totter and it would move up and down. They were toys, but really worked.

I had one and it did keep time. It was my very first watch. I was either 4 or 5 when I got it and I wore it daily until I turned 7 and got my first real watch. Mine is the only one I've ever seen. It was clear case, meaning you could see the gears through it and I remember that it had a really, really loud tick -- loud enough that my first grade teacher usually made me take it to the cloak room during tests and reading times.

Not only did we have one, My Mom still has it, and it still works!
It is a square clear plastic houseing about 1.5" square, and about0.5" from front to back. It has two gold colored kids riding a gold colored teeter-totter, and you can see the gears inside. It's got a Red, White, and Blue plastic strap/watchband.
I was diging through some stuff not too long ago, and totally freaked out when I found it.
Mom got it for my little brother (I'm 35 and he's 31) back then as his first watch.

Hello...I do remember Teeter Totter Watches! I've been looking for one that works for about a year now. It was one of my first watches, it wasn't durable and it did keep time. Had to wind it up all the time though... I'm 37 now and really, really, really would like one. I've been a watch officionado for years owning some really nice ones from Rolex to Franck Muller, Panerai and more. I'd like to add a Teeter Totter to my collection. If you know someone, please send me an e-mail...Thanks!

My first watch was a teeter totter watch. I got it for Christmas I think. I was about 8 or so when I got it. I learned how to tell time on that watch. :o

I happen to have a teeter totter watch from my childhood. I think it needs to be repaired. Anyone know how I can go aboutrepairing and/or selling one?
