Subject: Queen
Another one of my fave bands, do any of you like them?
Subject: Re: Queen
I like the songs "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and "Under Pressure" w/ David Bowie the best. And, of course, "Bohemian Rhapsody".
Subject: Re: Queen
I sure do, the first song of thiers that got my attention was Bohemian Rhapsody and I was hooked ever since. They were a great group. I bought all thier singles, a few years ago I bought a double CD set of all of thier hits and I listen to it often.
Subject: Re: Queen
Bohemian Rapsody is one of my favorite songs of all time but Stairway To Heaven will always be my #1

Subject: Re: Queen
I love Queen!!
I'm partial to all the songs on the A Night at the Opera but I'm also quite intrigued by everything on their Queen II album.
Most people don't care for that one because it's a little different from their normal stuff.

I didn't know so many of liked Queen. ;)

Wich makes it one of their top 3 albums (at least on my list), along with Night At The Opera & Day At The Races.

Subject: Re: Queen
I'm a musician in my mid 30's, and Queen was one of the most influential bands for me....the thing that is funny, is that I HATE Bohemian Rhapsody. I simply can not stand it...I don't know if it's from over exposure to it or what it is. My favorite songs from "A.N.A.T.O." would be '39 and The Prophets Song, with the Prophet Song being my favorite Queen song.
I also love Queen II. "Ogre Battle" is great (I love the way that they worked the recording backwards for the intro to it), and one of the funniest ennuendo songs ever written is "The Fair Feller's Master Stroke".

I love them! They play such great and enjoyable rock music. And Freddy had one of the best voices in pop music history, in my opinion.
My fav Queen songs are:
Innuendo
We are the champions (I know, I know. It is overplayed and everything but still a great rock anthem.)
Somebody to love
The show must go on
Breakthru
Radio Ga-ga
Subject: Re: Queen
I loved Queen.Their first four albums were their best.
Subject: Re: Queen
I love the band Queen. I would like to take a moment of silence for the late/great Freddie Mercury. :'(
We are the champions...
Subject: Re: Queen
I don't mean to intrude, but I'm not the most avid queen fanatic; so don't get mad for me not knowing. When did Freddie die?
Subject: Re: Queen
24 Nov 1991 :'( From AIDs related illnesses.
RIP Freddie
Anyone who wants to see him at his absolute best should buy the double DVD of Queen Live at Wembley 1986.
The bonus CD has some amazing backstage stuff that really reveals the real Freddie and not just the showman on stage.
Brian and Roger do some great current interviews and Johns interviews are a few years older.
Subject: Re: Queen
I saw Queen, in 1975, maybe, just as A Night at the Opera, was hitting here. Unbelievable show; "Stone Cold Crazy" a great song. I doubt if they ever played a place as small as the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, Pa , again, which is where I saw them. think I still have the ticket stubs...lol
Subject: Re: Queen
Queen are legends, Fred. I don't know anybody that hates every single song they have made!
I like a lot of their songs (Crazy little thing called Love, Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, Don't Stop Me Now, Flash, Bicycle Race, One Vision, A Kind of Magic etc) but Bohemian Rhapsody was too long-winded for my tastes. I recognise it's musical value though.

Queen sucks major ass! I thought queer eye for the striaght guy was gay then i saw them my god!!!

You don't like them because the lead singer is gay?
