Subject: Remember Talking Football?

I had "Talking Football" in 1971...you had small records with offensive plays on one side then you opponent had to spin it to the defensive selection on the other side...you then popped the record down into the little red box machine you held in your hand and listened to the result of the play.

Was 4th grade, so must've been xmas of '78. It was "Monday Night Football", but I'm sure the voice was a generic announcer, not Howard & crew. It was fun. My 2 step-brothers & I would have tournaments. I remember finding the player & a few discs in a box years later. Prob'ly threw 'em out after playing a couple! ::)
I remember that year I also got a S.W.A.T. van w/2 "posable action figures" (boys don't play with dolls!) from the TV show. I didn't hafta hijack my cousin's Barbie RV anymore for my GI Joes! :D
