Subject: Click Clackers
I still have my Click Clackers. It was a toy that had two marble balls (came in colors) and these marble balls were on a string. You would click them together. You had to be careful that the marble balls didn't break from the string. I thought it was a dangerous toy at the time, but I loved it.

I remember these...they were evil toys...used to kill your knuckles!

Those things were brutal. Now, come to think of it, I did have bruised knuckes. These days, those things would be pulled off the market.

I thought they were pulled off the market in 70' or 71' because too many kids were getting hurt. The resin balls would sometimes explode and the flying shards causing facial lacerations. When the story hit the local news, the nuns at my Catholic grade school confiscated any that weren't taken by the parents.
Who was it that said "Anything good in life is either illegal, immoral, or fattening."

I remember having huge brusies on my arms-right above my wrists, from those things. Of course that wasn't going to stop me from using them. ;)

Oh I loved those things ;D My mother would always say "youre gonna hit somebody in the face someday"I never did,but like most of you had many bruises, and those things made a formidable, intimidating looking weapon in school fights ;D

I remember those things too, lethal freakin' weapons! Those balls were kind of heavy.

We used to have contests to see who could "keep them going" the longest. Seems to me like my brother did it for like 1 1/2 mins. for the "worlds record"! (He ended up being a rock drummer ;D)
Subject: Re: Click Clackers
Throwing them at the feet of a running little brother would take him down every time. ;) My weapon of choice.

I remember them. I had several of them. I never had one break on me but my arms were always bruised from them. They were taken off the market because of the injuries.
