Subject: Garbage Pail Kids are making a comeback

Written By: Ms_Summer on 07/12/03 at 03:35 a.m.

I just read that the Garbage Pail Kids are making a comeback after being off the market for fifteen years.  I thought the Garbage Pail Kids were funny.  Are you glad to see them return or not?

From a previous thread I wrote in the '80s' section entitled 'Do you remember Garbage Pail Kid Stickers?' (or something to that effect). I found out that not only did people remember them, they still have their old collections!

I would love to see Garbage Pail Kids make a comeback. I think you need a sick sense of humour but John Pound's artwork was very effective. If they come out in Britain, I will be the first to start my collection!  :D

I'm hoping that one day I would sell my GPK stickers after 17 years. How much would they would be worth since 1986?

I reckon they would be worth a bit, Howard.

There seems to be an eighties revival at the moment (especially in Britain) and something like Garbage Pail Kids stickers would be quite desirable at the right opportunity.  :)

Me personally, I would love them anyway. I regret sticking mine to clothes and walls now.  :-/

The Garbage Pail Kids were way better than the Care Bears.  The Care Bears were boring.
