I remember a funny show called, "Are You Being Served." It took place in a Department Store. It was a British comedy.

Yes I remember it too. It featured Wendy Richard, Mollie Sugden, Arthur English, John Inman and the bloke that is in 'Last of the Summer Wine' at the moment.
It was alright (if a little too camp and plodding). Mr Humphries (John Inman) would always shout 'I'm free'. I believe it was trying to be another 'Carry on' wannabee. Harmless stuff though.

And don't forget Mrs Slowcombes pussy !! I loved the way Mollie Sugdens hair was a different colour every week !

I loved that show too. I liked how the guy with the blond hair (I forget his name) used to measure the inside leg of men's pants.

Thank you for remembering his name. He was my favorite on the show. I thought the entire show was funny.

In the first series, they wouldn't let Mollie Sugden wear wigs, and her hair was actually dyed all those different colours.

I loved this show and wish that I still could see it. I liked Wendy Richard from EastEnders and it was great to see her in a comedy !
The blond haired guy was very, very funny ! I believe he was gay-am I remembering this correctly ? And yes, that women's hair was a different color all the time - just too funny ! :D

I saw a few episodes on the local public TV stations. Some episodes were LOL, but like The Benny Hill Show, a lot of it was hit or miss. It's a shame that Mr. Grainger, Mr. Mash and Mr. Harman are no longer with us.
