In the early 70's my brother and I had this really cool game and we've never been able to recall the name. It was 3 dimensional and you had to move your pieces up a hieroglyphic-covered pyramid. It wasn't a pointy pyramid though...it was chopped off at the top to hold a little box that would spout out various recordings if you landed on certain spots, and for some reason (as you can see I don't recall the rules, the point, or the object of the game at ALL!) there were little plastic green "jewels" that you set on certain spots. I really loved this game (especially the ominious audio feature) and would love to find one on eBay or something if only I could remember the name or maker, etc. I doubt anyone will know but I appreciate any thoughts.  :)

My best friend still has the game and I think it is still playable. When we got bored, we would just play the record and hit it halfway thru to make it skip and see what kind of mixed up messages we could get:

"You are completely surrounded *blip* by your throat"

"You have just entered *blip* the vampire bat"
