Subject: Anyone Remember The Hudson Brothers?
Oldest to youngest, Bill, Mark, & Brett (I've never gotten over my crush on you, sweetie! :-*)? They had a summer replacement show in '74 for the Sonny & Cher show. Seems S & C were in the throws of divorce and the Hudsons took over for about a month. From this show they were offered a Saturday morning kids show, "The Hudson Brothers Razzle Dazzle Show". I remember the most that the show was set-up like an adult variety show with recurring skits. It only lasted one season and I still remember getting up early one Saturday morning and, poof...they were no more. They showed up sporadically on other programs as well. They were also a real band and put out a few really good albums if you actually ventured out to buy them. Anyone else remember?

I remember the show, they were clean cut, holsome type dudes, looking like pop group in bells, doing light comedy. Sorry, I never watched the show, only flicked by it as I turned the channels.

I totally remember them! One of them married Goldie Hawn and is the father of Kate Hudson..I think it was Bill but I'm not positive.

I remember the Hudson Brothers. Bill did marry Goldie Hawn, but they divorced and he married Cindy Williams of "Laverne and Shirley". I didn't watch the Hudson Brothers Saturday morning show much, but I liked their summer replacement for Sonny and Cher.

I remember that show. Now, I can't remember much about it except that I loved it. Didn't they hook up with the Harlem Globetrotters at one point? Or was it just that the Globetrotters had a guest spot on their show?

I love this board!! ;D Here's another subject that makes me question my sanity 'cuz no one I know ever remembers! And then it turns up here! :D
I loved the show! Of course, I was big on the cheesy live action Saturday morning shows, whether they had cartoons or not: Hudson Bros, Bay City Rollers, Banana Splits, all versions of the Kroft Supershow ( I still remember watching One Day At A Time with my mom & seeing 'Max' for the first time: "Hey, that's Captain Cool !")
When I was 12 (in '81), we moved to AZ . My dad had long hair for as long as I could remember. He had to cut it to look for a job out here. He came home and it was shoulder length, kinda feathered. The first words outta my mouth, "Look, it's one of the Hudson Bothers!"
