Subject: Star Stuff ???

Does anyone remember a show called Star Stuff (or maybe Starstuff)?
From what I can recall, it was basically about a boy named Chris, who was forever in his bedroom talking on a CB radio/television contraption. Via this setup, he could talk to this girl, Ingrid, who lived on a space station with her parents. I don't remember much more about it, but I do remember there was a puppet type show within this "Starstuff" show. The puppet type show (Jim Henson-like puppets) was called "The Edge of Space." It had two astronauts and their "faithful robot assistant," Giz all of whom lived on a space station on the moon...or maybe Mars.
Anyone remember this? I think it was on at about 6 AM (EST) on CBS.
