Subject: Sad Spoken Word Record
Written By: auntie_sue on 06/09/03 at 09:59 p.m.
My mother had a 45 that she would listen to in the 70s; it may have been cut earlier, but I am not sure. My memories of this are very vague, but I will do my best.
This was a man telling a sad story about his father or son. They may have died or were very ill. This may have also had singing or at least background music along with the storytelling. As I said, I'm not too sure as I was very young.
Thanks,
Susan : )

Could have been William S. Burroughs, he rapped some spooky stuff!
Dr. Timothy Leary also talked some funky raps.
