Subject: "That 70's Show" song??
Does anyone know who does the "theme song" for TSS? I've wanted to check it out a thousand times but by the time the end of the show rolls around I've either forgotten about it ( ??? Imagine that.......a "child of the 70's forgetting something ::)) or have already started flicking.
Another thing along that line, I noticed that the song "changed" from the first year to the second. Same song, just different arraingement and insturmentation. Is it the same "band" or group of musicians? Anyone know?

The song is actually done by Cheap Trick...cool huh?
It's called "That 70's Song" and is a full-length song...I dunno if they redid it or maybe just re-arranged it or something.

Thank you Mr. Gfish! Now that you mention it, I remember seeing or hearing that somewhere.

The song is by Ben Vaughan and 'based on' a song by Alex Chilton & Chris Bell called "In the Street". In the first 3 (I think) seasons, it was sung by Todd Griffin. You may be interested in the CD "That '70s Show Presents That '70s Album (Rockin)".

I would've picked some different tunes to "represent" the 70's, but those are all classics. I'm pretty sure the "theme" song changed from year one to year two. I could be wrong though, it's been known to happen. ::) ;)

Aye Dude, I agree. I think that the songs on the Dazed and Confused soundtrack better represented the 70's
