Subject: Fashion for 70s party
Written By: wastl55 on 05/21/03 at 03:38 a.m.
Hi,
We will have a 70s party early June.
As the people we like to invite are all 20somethings
and do not have any idea of that time,
I would need some help:
where can I find some good sites on the internet
having pictures of the clothes, dresses, colours
and other stuff ?
Thanks for your help.
Stephan ??? ???

A Google Search will spring up lots of examples of clothing from the 70s.
Here are some things that were popular :
Early 70s-Bell bottoms, Hip Huggers, bandanas on head, ponchos, buffalo sandals (and if you want to smell seventies -patchouli oil),peasant blouses, midi blouses. hot pants
As time went on : gauchos, cowl neck tops, midi skirts with Frye boots, platform shoes , aviator glasses, tube tops, halter tops
