Subject: Your favorite sneakers, pants, shirt etc.
Did you have a favourite article(s) of clothing growing up in the 70''s?
I had a pair of blue and white KEDS, with a blue and red stripe on the sides. Those were my favorites!! (for some strange reason,I can't fit those babies any more,DARN!) ::) ;D

I had this pair of Levis, they were beige and they were like a brushed suede look. they were real soft. I also had this blue shirt that has these silver studs all over it. I always wore these shoes, they were suede and they were called Earth Shoes.

I remember toward the end of the 70's, having a pair of blue jeans with a rollerskate on one of the back pockets...it had the laces to tie up and everything! It's possible that I got these in 1980 or 1981...I'm not totally sure! The ironic part is that I never really learned how to skate, I mostly just fell down a lot! But I always enjoyed falling down to the beat of the good music played at the skating rink!

;D I had a pair of desert boots I loved to wear. They were much like earth shoes.

:D :D :DBelieve it or not,I actually had a few favorite clothes in the 70s.Around 1970 or 71 I had a burnt orange, long sleeved shirt with an applique flowerpot on it.I also had an orange and brown plaisd dress, about the same time, and a lavender dotted swiss short dress.Around 1974 to 77,I had a long earthy pink dress with kind of lacy sleeves.I also had a long shell necklace.Cheers! 8) 8)

I remember Chemin-De-Fer pants, broken in Levi's, Earth Shoes, Wallaby's, platform shoes with a cork bottom, corduroy pants, and God help me, Gauchos. Also tube tops, leather sandals, and a leather belt from Ensenada with my boyfriend Rich's name on it. Actually it said "Rich's Bitch" and I really can't believe my parents let me get it much less wear it. I was like 13 or 14! First love.......

It did not say Rich's pregnant dog, but apparently the word that rhymes with Rich was inappropriate. Sorry.

My 3 favorite t-shirts:
a white shirt with a picture of Queen performing on stage with "Killer Queen" on it.
an orange shirt with the picture from the famous Farrah Fawcet poster on it. (as seen in pictures from my 9thbirthday) :o
And finally, the navy blue shirt with the Han Solo/Chewie back-to-back shooting pose.
Ahh....the days of huge iron-on transfers.... ;)
