Subject: Remember Land Of The Lost?
Just found this Land Of The Lost site -
http://www.landofthelost.com/
I had completely forgotten about this show for some reason. But I loved it! I used to have a crush on the blonde gal. And CHAKA! I forgot all about that hairy monkey boy!! I remember Holly saying his name all the time... And the Sleestaks!!
And I also rediscovered (via that site) Sigmund & The Sea Monsters!!
Wow. The past two or three days have been so trippin' for me - I've been rediscovering all these long-forgotten tv shows and 70's/80's toys via these forums - I don't know why I waited so long to check out "era" or "decade"-type message boards. There was a whole vast community just waiting to be found!! - simply because we lived in (and/or dig) a certain period of history, and appreciate a lot of its pop culture. It's a beautiful thing. <gets misty>

My husband has a pair of ski gloves that looks just like the Sleestak's hands....he puts them on, makes the Sleestak "hissing" sound, and chases me around the house!
Goofy, I know! But I do remember watching that show every stinkin' Saturday growing up!
