What a guy !  I thought he was great.  My mother used to think he was the Devil's brother, but even at the time I just used to think he was having a good time......

My Father-in-law went to high school with Alice Cooper (Vincent Furnier sp?) in Arizona.  Says he's a really smart guy and not at all like his Alice Cooper persona.

He does an annual Christmas charity show in Phoenix and is actually an avid golfer nowadays.  Happy B-day!

Anytime I start ot rag on a kid these days for listening to Marilyn Manson (who I still don't like :P), I think of how much I liked Alice back "in the day". Happy Birthaday Vincent! Grip it and rip it!!

:o  I live in AZ, and everyone here still listens to Alice Cooper. He will always be around...No one else is like him!  He does play golf...He has been quoted as saying " I'd like to make golf more violent"  and " We dont drink or take drugs anymore, we might as well play golf".  He has a resturant here in AZ called "Cooperstown"  (pretty cool place)  and has awesome Halloween Haunted houses.  He pops up here and there, and is a true AZ boy! And it doesnt matter how old he gets, he will always be Rockin.

Goreripper and I had this debate here once before, Bobo. Yeah, most of the music reference books say 1949, but Goreripper thinks Dio's quite a bit older, and I have to agree...

Dio was actually born 10th JULY, 1942. For some reason he was long claimed his birthdate as 7/10/49, but he made his first record with a band called Ronnie and the Red Caps in 1958, and looking at photos of him taken at the time, he was older than 9 when he did this.  ;D
The first link I've posted here gives his real birthdate, the second details about his very first record.
