Does anyone remember a burgundy colored leather lace up shoe with a flap over the laces. We use to call them Brogues, but i can't seem to find anything on the internet about. I know they weren't a figment of my imagination. I wore them

To me a brogue is any sort of leather shoe with a pattern on the toe area made with small holes. Those with a leather flap over the laces I would call golf shoes, but I don't know if that's what they were called at the time.
