I've never really understood why we spell words differently when we speak the same language! Although, some people might disagree that we do to some degree. But, that's a whole other thread ;D.

Noah Webster's fault. He spelt colour with a U, dropped the K's off magic and tonic, and spelled medicine without an E. Back on topic...
