I really don't have many words to describe this guy, except brilliant. I was hunting around for a picture of him for my avatar, but something I saw really annoyed me.
One of those sleazy fan type pages had a link to where you could buy the 'address' for John Cazale, and in turn write to him.
It got me to thinking, how many people do really know that he is dead? That such a great actor died when he had such a bright future in movies, and could have ended up being one of the greats.
For those of you who don't know him, he was in 5 of the greatest movies of all time:
The Deer Hunter
Dog Day Afternoon
The Conversation
The Godfather Part one and two.
So basically, in this post I wanted to honour John Cazale, and maybe even develop some appreciation for such an amazing actor.
