Subject: What about those goofy interview songs?
Does anybody remember those songs that were interviews answered with song lyric sampling? I'd like to get some of those if I could only remember the song titles. ???

Some of my favorites:
The Flying Saucer (from the 1950's)--Buchanan & Goodman
Mr. Jaws--Dickie Goodman

There was one called the "Paper Caper," but it may have been local to Northeast Ohio...
My best friend and I used to make those goofy things. I still have three on an old cassette tape, ca 1973.... ;D

Convention '72!!
We still have this 45 - it was always in our old jukebox.
"'AaAaAaAaAaAh - and the magnificent-ificent-ificent-ificent'"
"'Trine-a-fine-a-woman, Trine-a-fine-a-woman, Trine-a-fine-a-woman, Trine-a-fine-a-woman!'"
Some weird things on there!

I didn't have the record, but I taped it from my friend Cherie... at the same time as "Lean On Me" and "Baby Don't Get Hooked On Me."

ROFL! Yes, now I remember that too! I have to dig it out; I think it's still sitting on the jukebox getting very dusty along w/some others.
I thought the label was Red-white-blue? You know, American elections? Guess we'll find out.
