Subject: A Freshen-Up Gum Commercial (starring me)
Written By: Paul S. on 09/21/02 at 05:38 a.m.
Freshen-Up Gum's follow up ad to "He didn't know the gum was loaded" jingle advertised "They upped the fresh in Freshen-Up, they upped the fresh!" It featured 3 kids in soccer uniforms, one of whom had a stick of the stuff "magically" balanced on his thumb. "Faaar-up!", was his one line. The kid in question was me, and I'd love to know if anyone has audio/video of this, so I can show my sons what a goofball Dad was in the late 70's early 80's. ::) :) I believe the commercial aired in '79-80. Can you help? Does anyone even remember this one? Thanks!
