Subject: Help!: Which artist??
Written By: rik_j on 09/17/02 at 07:08 a.m.
Hiya!
You all seem like some kind of experts in the 70's genre, so I have a question I have had unanswered for years.
I have heard parts of a song on several occasions, but I have never found out who the artist was.
Bits of the lyric:
"Don't worry
don't panic
'cause the music keeps on playing all night long
I really really really hope you can help me out on this one. ???
Regards
Rik

You're probably thinking of "Red Alert" by Basement Jaxx, a big dance hit here in the U.S. in the Summer of '99. (It failed to cross over to the pop chart.) It was off the group's 1999 album, Remedy. Fortunately, the album is still in print today on CD here in the U.S...
However, some of their music is very '70s-sounding, which is why I assume you posted your q here on the '70s board...
