Subject: The Miracles(without Smokey)

I think it was right after Motown in the late 1960's that The Miracles had broken up and went on their own to make a few disco and funk songs.Such as:
-"DO IT,BABY"(1975)
-"LOVE MACHINE"(1977)
That's basically all the songs I can remember listening to on the radio.I just don't know why Smokey had never made a disco or funk song? Or did he? From what I can recall,Smokey Robinson had went on to make his own music in the early-mid 1980's with some very nice love jams of his own.Who here loves the New Miracles? -howard- 8)

If you like The Miracles with Billy Griffin you could check out his website: http://www.billygriffin2001.com
Here he discusses the day he took over for Smokey when Smokey wanted to go on his own and sing himself. Enjoy.
