Subject: WHERE ARE ALL THE JACKSON BROWNE FANS?
Written By: Trinity on 06/03/02 at 10:43 p.m.
Two nights ago, we were lucky enough to see Jackson Browne, at an outdoor acoustic concert in southern NJ.
This was a dream show, one that a true lover of this music could only hope for.
A song list? Late for the Sky Take it Easy-Colours of
Song for Adam the Sun
The Pretender Jamaica Say You Will
Fountain of Sorrow Farther on
The list goes on and on. My favorite part? When Jackson Browne said he was going to play The Pretender- my 4 year old said "Mama, Jackson Browne sings The Pretender!!"
All those times we listened to the album had paid off! He finally got it - We were lucky enough to see Jackson Browne!!
Has anyone else had the pleasure?
What are your favorite songs?

I saw him in 1978, at Kent State University, just after the release of the Pretender. All I remember is that we stood in the cold in a really long line, and at some point, Browne came out in person with his son Ethan and said hello to the crowd and thanked them for waiting. I don't really remember the show tho', it's been soooo long ago.

He was here May 31st but I couldn't go. Had a really good write up in the paper. I wish I could have gone.
I'm glad you enjoyed it though!

I'm not too familiar with Jackson Browne's music.
The only song I like is"You're A Friend Of Mine"with
Clarence Clemons.

Jackson Browne is a huge inspiration for me musically (I'm a piano player too, I can play and sing "Doctor My Eyes" which I think is pretty cool). My favorite of his is "Rock Me on the Water."
