Subject: The Partridges VS The Brady's
I always heard that there was some rivalry between those two famous families of the seventies, The Partridges and The Bradys. Which was your favorite?
I was more of a Partridge fan even though I grew up on both shows. I don't know, the Bradys were too perfect. But still they don't make me as nauseas as the Tanners of "Full House". But Keith and Danny made "The Partridge Family" funnier than The Brady family. And hey, which is more interesting, living in a big house with Alice and the Brady parents or cruising across country in a 'psychedelic' bus?
Peace,
A'isha

Don't know! I guess I was more of a Partridge fan as well! But I was into the Bradys!

Somebody's gonna say it...
(Jan's voice),
Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!
I liked both. I remember more of the Brady episodes though. But, man! Keith was a hottie!

And let's not forget this one CS...
"My nose...my nose!!!"

I liked both equally...I'd only give a slight edge to the Brady's because they have gotten more exposure from re-runs than the Partridges....

I like The Bradys more cause they were a hip family.
howard ;D

But didn't the Partridge Family play music and travel around in a multi-colored bus? I don't think you can GET much more hip than that!

Yes, I can see it is. I used to have the "Teaser And The Firecat" book when I was a kid. It was one of my favorite books when I was growing up.

NEITHER!

The Partridge Family was definetly hip with their bus. The Bradys had the woody stationwagon and were called The Silver Platters. I'd go with the Bradys, but it's a close call for sure.
There's a dance club here in the Phoenix area called "Have A Nice Day Cafe" that plays 70s and 80s music. In the parking lot next to the club, there is a bus exactly like the one from the Partrdige Family. I'll have to take a pic and post it here.

Partridge's...but only because of Keith! I had such a crush on David Cassidy back in the day...Greg could never compete with that! ::)

Have to answer the Partridges too. For the same reason, my crush on him was only rivaled by his brother Shawn and Leif Garrett.

I like both but the Patridges had cooler music (I love the theme song) and the kids were not as cutesy as the Bradys. Not to mention that the Bradys did not have Reuben Kincaid! ;D

Chronic halitoses, or B.O.?
Neither, thank you! ;D
Subject: Re: The Partridges VS The Brady's
I don't think I ever watch an episode of the Bradys in my life.
But I was hooked on the Partridge Family. I remember crying with sheer frustration once when it got pre-empted by the football game for the third week in a row, and my parents getting furious with me... :'( (Hey, maybe that is where my dislike of sport originates from... ::) )

I grew up on reruns of the Bradys. I loved them. I always wanted to grow up in a big family where children could actually come to their parents (or in some cases Alice) with their problems and feel like they were being understood.
