Subject: World War III?

I am not starting this thread to throw out some hyperbole or conspiracy theory but I am wondering if we are in World War III. North Korea has sent troops to help Russia fight in Ukraine. South Korea said that it will do the same to help Ukraine.
Israel & Iran are no longer fighting a proxy war but an all out active one (with the U.S.'s help). It looks like China may be supporting Iran as well as circling Taiwan.
So my question is Has World War III started?

WW3 will only start if the USA continues to fund conflicts that are not in our interest.
Our slavish support and propping up of Israel is an embarrassment and is contradictory to traditional American values.
And we tickled the dragon re:Ukraine and the dragon bit back.
Neither conflict is in the American national interest. Defund them all.

Some might say it began when Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022. Iran is involved in both fronts, though with Russia it's more of a proxy as they've just been sending weapons much like US/NATO nations have been for Ukraine. With the Israel front it started off between Israel and Palestine/Gaza (Hamas) but then it involved Yemen (Houthis), then Lebanon (Hezbollah), and now Iran.
