Remember Daniel Powter? He is a singer from British Columbia who back in 2005/06, had a world wide smash hit called Bad Day. It is best known as a one hit wonder, and while he had a few other hits in Canada, he's not had a chart single since 2012. He recently appeared as a contestant on Canada's Got Talent to try and revive his career.
Howie's initial comment before he started singing is priceless!

I remember him. I only know that one song and remember it was popular around the same time as "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt. That song is in my 2006 playlist and I also heard it playing at the local grocery store a few years ago.

Bad Day is the only song I know too.
