Home Improvement matriarch Patricia Richardson has come out to say that a reboot will not be in the works.

Amongst her reasons are that Zachary Ty Bryan is now a felon, and that Taran Noah Smith has not acted since the show’s original run ended.
Side Note: Home Improvement patriarch Tim Allen was a felon before the show even started, having spent time in the slam for slinging dope. :-\\

I don't think a reboot should ever happen, leave it in the past, it's not gonna work today. ::)

If ABC wants to move forward, they could do it without Patricia...
