Turns out that the legendary actor has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

This is terrible news. A women I used who work with got FTD, and in fairly short order got to the point where she recognized nobody. It’s kind of like Alzheimer’s in steroids. :\'(

Not likely. FTD is progressive… :-\\
