Another year, what weather extremes will 2023 bring?
Right now there are several MET office weather warnings across the UK for heavy rain over the next 48 hours, so wherever you are stay safe.

Wow, I don't even know, I don't think that New York will much to hardly any snow but you never know we could get a snow-less January and February and then in March NY gets walloped with a foot of snow before the first day of Spring.

Regarding Chicagoland I declare, save a few nasty spells this winter's been quite mild overall. The next few days are forecast to hit around 50, not so common for mid-February here. January was mostly mild here, too, upper 30s to 40s. December was probably when the winter weather was the worst - before Christmas.

After the early spring we had, it's like winter is not done with us. It's not the first time I remember having a warm February but a cold March in Georgia.
This has been an interesting winter with January And February being above normal and warm temperatures but as for March, it seems winter just wants one last grasp.

Yeah, I heard about this on the news this morning! :o A true weather anomaly for So Cal!
There was a similar incident in Carpinteria, well up the coast from L.A., which damaged a trailer park.

Not in the mountains, and they have enough to not melt until well into the summer months.

Heavy storms have caused flash flooding and widespread disruption across swathes of England. In North Cadbury, Somerset, homes were evacuated when 18 properties in the village became overwhelmed with water. Witnesses reported "torrential" rain in Devon, with walls of water appearing following an afternoon deluge. A thunderstorm warning for the south and south west, East Anglia and parts of the Midlands was in place until about 22:00 BST on Tuesday.

It occurs about every 13 years. Last one was 2010 and before that 1997, which is when the classic SNL skit I referenced was from.
