Subject: Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert at Wembley
Written By: karen on 09/04/22 at 4:19 am
Rock legends played at Wembley yesterday in memory of Taylor Hawkins who died in March. Last night's concert was the first of two gigs organised by the musician's wife and bandmates, with proceeds going to charities Music Support and MusiCares. Then next will be in LA in two weeks time.

We watched some of the concert via YouTube, where it may still be available.

So sad to see the clips on the news on television.
I understand that Sir Paul McCartney was there as well.

When Dave had to keep stopping during "Times Like These" to cry, and marched on a minute later with a breaking, shaking voice, I felt that. Probably the most emotional I've gotten this year that wasn't even 6-degrees related/adjacent to Stranger Things.
I thought Chrissie hated "Brass in Pocket"?

That song put lots of silver in her pockets.

I don't see what the big deal was about this guy. Two massive concerts, a virtual Live Aid full of superstars? I know the Foo Fighters are a big band, but I think this speaks more to the influence of Dave Grohl to get these big stars.
