Hiphop pioneer Kidd Creole, (born Nathaniel Glover), former member of Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, has been sentenced to 16 years in the police, after having been convicted in the stabbing of a homeless man back in ‘17.

Glover was on his way to work when his fatal run-in with Jolly occurred. As described during the trial, the two began to exchange words, and while Glover walked away at first, he eventually turned around, approached Jolly again, and stabbed him twice with a steak knife. Jolly’s body was discovered by a group of tourists a few minutes later; he was taken to the hospital where he died of his stab wounds.

Creole’s lawyer is now preparing an appeal.

It's actually The Kidd Creole.  There is a singer named August Darnell who performed under the name Kid Creole and the Coconuts around the same time
