Subject: Why 2020 Was Such a Good Year For Music

I think the reason why is because we were so used to hearing trap on the radio all the time and it was sickening and then finally in 2020 we had a change. Music became more upbeat and we heard more variety with retro pop coming into the mix. Trap was definitely still around, but it wasn't the only genre that was popular. Music in 2020 was a breath of fresh air. Everytime you heard Blinding Lights when driving you were always revealed that you didn't hear the same old stuff on the radio. Same goes for some other songs that year. Even in rap music, you had some relief from the same old boring stuff with Juice Wrld also topping the charts in 2020.
