Subject: One Major Difference Between The 2010s and 2020s

People don't use straws anymore. You literally don't see anyone drinking their drinks with straws. You still had this in the 2010s. I think its because the transition to paper straws from plastic was so alarming people just avoided using straws all together.

Paper straws have a terrible quality. Much better don’t use them at all.

Over the years I preferred the feel of the moisture from the drink I am consuming, and therefore never have used a straw.

I haven’t used a straw in years. They seem so pointless.

Plastic bags are also not used anymore at markets and stores here in NYC idk if that’s a nationwide thing thought
Now everybody either has to pay for a bag, usually a brown or reusable one
Good for the environment I guess
This was not a thing in the 2010s

Yup that too. That's another thing that is bad this decade.

Here in the UK, plastic bags are still available, but now with a charge, the bigger the bag the more is paid.

The 2010s was also the last decade when pirate dvds were a thing, I remember early in the decade people would walk into a McDonald’s and sell the pirated version of a newly released movie.
With the internet being so accessible and COVID killing the reason for going to movie theaters, this act has probably gone extinct
