They've tried this before. Keep in mind, "That 70s Show" ran for eight seasons. They tried a spinoff "That 80s Show" and it tanked immediately. It barely lasted a few months. Nobody was interested in an 80s show. The difference is, "That 80s Show" was on network TV, so when it flopped, everybody knew it. When something is on Netflix it just sits there like a lead balloon for years whether anybody is watching it or not. That's another annoying thing about Netflix. There are things listed as "new releases" that have been on there for like five years.

Sadly a "That 2000s Show" will never happen since it doesn't have the same ring to it.  :(

That's been the problem ever since before the 2000s started. I remember in the years leading up to 2000, besides the Y2K hysteria, there were T shirts and things being printed up saying "Class of 00". The idea being that it would be highly embarrassing to be the graduating "class of 00". It actually sounds kind of normal now, but in the years prior to it, it sounded odd.

I hadn't realised there was a series called "That ’90s Show".

However, there is a Simpsons episode from the late 2000s with that title. I've not seen it, but I've heard that said episode has received widespread criticism for essentially retconning the whole series, since The Simpsons was on the air throughout the 1990s (and beyond).

It will be better since it's featuring the same actors/characters from That 70's Show, especially Red Forman (Kurtwood Smith) and Kelso (Ashton Kutcher). Not sure if Wilmer Valderrama will be back as Fez though.

I will always love the 1990s and everything...but, I'm not watching it. It's just annoying to me how they only focus on those three particular decades. Why did they do that!? ::) ANNOYING. They could have at least written some episodes about Eric's grandparents...or something. It would make it more interesting for me to watch.

Wilmer is currently on NCIS, so if that show ever ends (which seems not likely anytime soon), he might play Fez again

I liked his character.

It's weird to think about how the same time has passed between the show's airing and it's setting, the 90s feel much more closer to today, compared to how far away the seventies felt to the late 90s.
