Yes. You can make a profile private so that only you and your followers/friends can see it.

I've been on FB for 12 years. I really miss you on there...
Even so, I have found it a good place to keep in contact with people I know, even if they don't go on there regularly.

Facebook is nice for keeping in touch with family or friends. :) But one can also do that on Instagram.

If I ever sign up on there, I would probably put selected ones on there, and maybe privatize other ones if I feel like putting 'em up.
