The first of numerous trials involving crooner R Kelly began yesterday in a Federal courtroom in New York.

The accusations are indeed disgusting and seedy. 8-P Hard to tell if R will be convicted or not.

In court, his personal physician (under subpoena) testified that he had tested R for the dreaded herpes virus as early as 2000, with inconclusive results, but that by 2007 he started prescribing Valtrex. R called in for refills so often that the good doctor testified that “I knew the phone number to R’s Walgreens Pharmacy by memory” and then he recited it in court.  :o. R is accused of, amongst other things, infecting several women with the herp.  8-P. Apparently R never paid for the doctor’s services like you or I would, and instead paid him with concert tickets.  ;D

All of which kinda makes me wonder… why hasn’t Derek Jeter been hauled into court? From what I’ve read it would appear that he is akin to ‘patient zero’.

In other testimony, R’s former tour manager, Demetrius Smith ratted him out to save his own butt testified how R allegedly got the young singer Aaliyah preggers when she was 15 back in 1994, and then married her so she could not testify against him.  Smith bribed some local dude to get her a fake ID that said she was 18, thus facilitating the wedding of R to otherwise-underage Aaliyah.

Court adjourned for the day, and Smith will continue his snitching testimony on Monday morning when the proceedings resume.

Yesterday yet another witness alleged that r gave her herpes.  8-P

Alliyah’’s uncle has finally spoken out about what he did when he found out that R Kelly married her when she was 15.

Being a devout Muslim he did what any uncle would do… he went down to Stony Island Boulevard, visited Louis Farrakhan and prayed about it. Never went to the cops or anybody else.

In today’s testimony, we find that R Kelly, uh, played the trombone.  Didn’t see that one coming.

After weeks of testimony, today R’s lawyers begin to present his defense case today.

They deliberated for 4 hours today before adjourning for the weekend.

I wonder if R will beat the rap like he did back when he was put on trial for (amongst other things) urinating on a minor? ???

I have it on records and it sounds GOREGOUS in analogue,they knew what they were doing!!

They must have recorded that album originally on TAPE and used the analogue master for the records cause they sound insane and what an album to have sound so good!!

I liked the Chocolate Album from 2003 especially "Step in the Name of Love". His 2005 album was decent as well but not all the chapters of "Trapped in the Closet".

Next year? What's the point then... He can plan to escape to Columbia during all that time. Or will he be awaiting his sentencing in a jail cell?  ??? If not, this justice system is broken.

Great news to hear! It's pathetic that lots of insider people just gave him the benefit of doubt due to his power for so long,, but it all stops now.
