Subject: Many dead after severe flooding affects Germany

At least a hundred people have died and there are hundreds missing after extreme rainfall caused flooding over a wide area. The states of Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia have been the worst hit.
Flooding has also affected parts of The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland

Between this, the scorching heat in India and the Southwestern U.S., and Hurricane Elsa storms reaching as far north as Canada, I don’t think it’s far fetched to say the effects of climate change are earnestly impacting the severity of what would be otherwise normal weather and seasonal events.

I never thought I would see a natural disaster with so many fatalities in Germany. :-[ :\'(
