If you saw somebody walking down the street, how would you be able to tell these pants from somebody who, uh, "did it the real way", so to speak?  It would certainly be cheaper than buying the pants.  :o  ;D  8-P

Besides, if these hoax-pants ever actually caught on, it would only be a matter of time before people would want to be more "authentic" and do it the "real way" (life imitating art). Society is doomed!
