I think it was a reference to the fact that the tacky "Octomom" of yore actually did that. She was indeed tasteless and desperate for fame.

It was called Octomom: Home Alone. This from Wikipedia:
Octomom:Home Alone was nominated for four AVN Awards, namely Best Celebrity Sex Tape, Best Solo Release, Best DVD Extras and Best Marketing Campaign. Hope not. Multiple births are risky for mum and the babies. This mother nearly bled to death.
