I used to watch How I Met Your Mother, wasn't really much into it.

If it premiers this year it will be one parallel with 2005, or even next year will be close enough as it's within the +/- 1 year range. Anyhow, this is evidence that there is Mid-2000's nostalgia in addition to the late 1980's with all the reboots from that era (ex: Saved by the Bell).
