Subject: Kim Kardashian Back on the Market (again)
Written By: LyricBoy on 02/19/21 at 3:17 pm
Kim Kardashian has ordered a set of tickets for two to Splitsville USA, with Kanye West.

Kanye will be the third ex-husband of Kim, who will now resume her search for “The One”.

I wonder how this will effect Kanye's next album, maybe a sequel to 808s & Heartbreaks? Hope he comes through this though, going through a divorce plus being bipolar really has to be rough on him.

I wonder if this will inspire Ray-J to compose another ode to Kim? ???

And if they have money.
You beat me to it. I was thinking the same thing. Money always marries money, money never marries broke.
The way I see it, the problem with their marriage was they weren't really in love with each other, they were in love with themselves. Their marriage was a "product". What a strange way to live.

Yes, and just because circumstance placed Kim Kardashian in a favorable place it doesn't mean she deserves to be there.
Although I have finally come to terms with the fact that people in this day and age are famous just for being famous (and it's been going on for a long, long time now), I CAN'T come to terms with the fact that said people have followers and are actually worshipped. I come from the time when people actually DID something to earn their fans and followers. Be it the Beatles or Elvis or Picasso or Marlon Brando. Or political figure like Robert Kennedy or leaders like Martin Luther King. People worth remembering. For the life of me I don't see what inspiration people possibly get out of nitwits like Kim Kardashian.

There have been people who were famous for being famous for a long time. Evelyn Nesbit & Zsa Zsa Gabor just to name two from earlier times.

I know Zsa Zsa (of course) but never heard of Evelyn Nesbit. Then there was Rula Lenska from those Alberto V05 commercials. This unknown woman who would say "hello, I'm Rula Lenska" with such authority, as if we were supposed to immediately know who she was. She would go on to say "friends are visiting from America and I'm showing them London!". We were supposed to understand what all this was about. I'm not sure she was just "famous for being famous" though, as her "fame", in this country anyway, seemed to begin and end with those commercials. And while we're at it, what exactly was "Alberto VO5" anyway? Hot oil for the hair? Did anybody actually use that?

Durward (Durwood) Kirby comes to mind...

Durward (Durwood) Kirby comes to mind...
I don't know that I'd put Durwood Kirby in that category. He actually DID things. He hosted shows and he was the sidekick to Gary Moore in a sort of Ed McMahon capacity. I'd say he was a bona fide "television personality", though I realize that phrase in itself can sometimes be a euphemism for someone "famous for being famous". But it makes me think of Peggy Cass, Kitty Carlisle, Arlene Francis and all these people who seemed to be on game shows and nothing else in the 60s and 70s. Maybe they should be their own category. In fact, a lot of those game show people had been successful, sometimes Tony-nominated Broadway actors in earlier times. A lot of us watching TV in the 60s and early 70s didn't necessarily know that because back then Broadway and it's performers had been it's own world and wasn't as widely known as it is today.

I would take her to Dunkin Donuts for a snack but she would probably think that's cheap for a date, she's more of a Starbucks person.

I doubt she's ever been in a Dunkin' Donuts. If she wants a donut, she'd probably call up some famous chef like Gordon Ramsay or Buddy Velastro to come overand make her some

She's probably one of those fancy women who want someone to make her a doughnut instead of buying one at a cafe.
