With all due respect, OP, it’s still only 2020 and I doubt that the average person could tell you would life would be like in 2020 with any accuracy back in 2019, so talking about 2030 seems pretty useless, to be honest

I can see it being worse/more dystopian. The US might have a future president that will make Trump look like Mister Rogers.

We won’t know tomorrow. Lots of absentee ballots need to arrive and counting this year’s ballots is going to be a nightmare. And it’s likely going to be a closely divided race. It will involve the electoral college which takes time, and I wouldn’t be surprised if lawsuits happen and it gets dragged out. Nothing would surprise me with this election.

Slim95, given how the nostalgia boomerang works, I think there is most likely going to be 2010s nostalgia in the 2030s. In addition to that, I also think there most likely is going to be a second wave of 90s nostalgia in the 2030s. A lot of folks on here are saying that the round of 90s nostalgia from the 2010s was weak. With that being said, I am going to go out on a limb and say that the round of 90s nostalgia that the 2030s will provide will be strong.

Yes, in 2000 with Bush vs. Gore. Just one state, Florida had to recount the ballots and it was a long process involving the courts and the Senate.
