I think they only stopped running the Yellow Pages Mistletoe ad a few years ago when the Yellow Pages went digital only.

The seasonal Hershey's Kisses "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" ad has been running since 1989, making it 31 years old. It's charm is in it's simplicity.

That one always makes me think of the Hee Haw skit where Grandpa Jones and his wife did Jingle Bells with bells of a different pitch on different body parts.
I think the Tootsie Pop commercial is older yet. At least it looks older.

I don’t recall seeing it this year, but there is an advert for PG Tips brand tea that was made in 1971. It has a Tour de France theme and certainly used to be played every year when the tour highlights show is on.
I can’t recall when Coca Cola first started using their Holidays are Coming lorry train. That is still shown in the U.K.

In the 60s & 70s the Norelco company always ran commercials featuring Santa riding an electric razor. The commercials varied from year to year depending on what new products they had, but the Santa was a constant, as well as the ending where they called themselves "Noelco" for the holidays. They ran these commercials for years and years. We knew it was Christmas when we saw that Santa riding the razor. :)

That Nöelco ad was awesome.
The Eat ‘N Park Christmas tree ad has been a classic here in Picksburgh for the past 28 years. :)

But the Hershey's commercial was remade from scratch in HD, so this isn't even the original.
Original
Remake
Of commercials that are the original versions still running, I'd have to go for Tootsie Pop. This one's at last 50 years old and the original is still on the air, no HD/widescreen upgrades, no from-scratch remakes. And yet there's at least 4 or 5 different versions of the Symbicort Big Bad Wolf grandpa commercial.

Indeed. They did do a totally different commercial in 1997.

But the one that stills airs today is the classic Mr. Owl, complete with the kid and Paul Winchell's voices.

i love that the boy in "Mistletoe" has talked to The Guardian in 2014 but whoever his "girlfriend" was in the advert has kept herself hidden.
